Statement

I'm interested in how each of us perceives the first 5 years of our life. My work is best described as layered evolution. I take images out of their original context, juxtapose them with other objects and colors, and then wait to see what memory I associate with the new image and work from there. In addition to this process, the viewer then adds their own meaning. It's a strange, surprising, and beautiful cycle.
